Yoshitomo Nara

Yoshitomo Nara is most definitely one of my favorite artists. Honestly, I like the contradiction/contrast between the soft little girls and the hard negative emotions on their faces. I think they're cute and they represent my emotions well when I am upset. The artist himself best explains it, "I want people to feel commotion beneath the surface of my pictures."
